I have an album coming out in a few days.
I’m in a band.
The album is titled:

The band is currently 3 official members and a new friend named Derek. We used to be a solid band of 4, but my buddy Mike got some big dreams and decided to follow ‘em! Now it’s the 3, our new pal D, and a warm memory. My band is called:

Those who have heard our EP or who have stopped by one of our live shows might be surprised by the album title. I always knew it was a bit different and a little dark. The intent is not to depress or scare. It’s an album of hope and learning. The Land Of Fear And Shame is a place that I believe exists in all of our minds. It’s a low place in our lives, induced by broken hearts, bad experiences and a feeling of hopelessness. When you can’t get a break and you feel like shit couldn’t get worse! It’s the bad lands, you could say. It’s a place of fear and shame. It turned this thought into a physical place. One that you so easily could get in the habit of never leaving. I thought a tropical island fit this idea well. It’s hard to shake off a low in your life and it feels like a rut you’ll never climb out of. This album is a trip on and off the Land Of Fear And Shame. It’s a lesson learned and a growing experience. It appears to be beautiful and comfortable because the water is warm, the sunrises are beautiful and the inhabitants are well-proportioned but it’s unhealthy to you. I always say that when you visit the Land Of Fear And Shame, the only way you can exit, is the same way you came. When I listen, it’s a personal journey and it means something to me. I’ve washed up on the shores before and sipped the coconut-flavoured rum. I’ve watched the sleepy sunsets turn shadows into monsters. I’ve made my way home and never looked back.

We’ve been a band for a few years and this is our first album. We’re all really excited. Releasing an album is fun. This album is a follow-up to our 2010 EP release titled:

Merry Christmas to my followers. I hope everyone received some really special gifts and some unconditional lovin’. For me, today is a day of cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, good food, awkward conversations, new gift fiddlin’, drinking, thinking, generosity and love. I wish everyone a safe and happy holidays.
Today my band announced the release of our new album. It will be out January 8th (as you can read above pretty clearly). This is a Sunday which is unusual, but being a relatively small band, we have a power to do things a little different. January 8th is the birthday of Elvis Presley (one of my musical heroes) and Big-John Bielli (the father of one of my bandmates, who supports us endlessly).
This album release is very important to me and my friends. We worked very hard on writing the songs, recording them and getting the CD manufactured. No matter where you live, you can buy a physical copy (by ordering online) or you can purchase the songs digitally on Bandcamp or iTunes, come January 8th.
